In a Facebook post, the fire department narrated what they witnessed during the incident. People thought that the fire would destroy everything, but the firefighters noticed that no Bible nor a single cross was damaged after the devastating fire.
“Though odds were against us, God was not. Picture this, a building so hot that at one point in time, firefighters had to back out. In your mind, everything should be burned, ashes. Not a single bible was burned and not a single cross was harmed!! Not a single firefighter was hurt!”
The firefighters posted the images of the untouched Bibles and cross which quickly went viral online.
Meantime, Freedom Ministries posted an optimistic message in their social media account saying, “will have to rebuild but we will be ok.” With all the supportive messages they got online, the church wrote: “We are overwhelmed with all the love, prayers, concerns, and offers of help!! God is working, we know. We cant thank you all enough. Please know we love you and are for ever grateful.”
