Michele Rigby Assad is a former undercover officer in the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations who recently came to speak at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trained as a counterterrorism specialist, Michele served her country for ten years, working in Iraq and other secret Middle Eastern locations. Working undercover for the CIA, she served in treacherous areas throughout the Middle East—a woman leading some of the most highly skilled operatives on the planet.

Though most of us will never know the long days and treacherous missions of being a double agent spy, Michele relay how her experiences can teach valuable lessons in faith, courage, business, and life.

She was also granted permission to break cover and tell her story in her compelling memoir, “Breaking Cover: My Secret Life in the CIA and What It Taught me About What’s Worth Fighting For” In Breaking Cover, Michele has at last been cleared to drop cover and tell her story of incredible struggle, of unexpected challenges and thwarted missions, and most significantly, of powerfully realizing what really matters in the face of her greatest fears. She also speaks throughout the US and continues to write with her expertise and knowledge on her website michelerigbyassad.com/blog.

Though most of us will never know the long days and treacherous missions of being a double agent spy, Michele relay how her experiences can teach valuable lessons in faith, courage, business, and life. For example, Michele shares ‘how “going to war” teaches you to manage fear and elevates your game to elite levels – whatever your game may be. She shares how “the role of faith in dealing with terrorists — and overcoming in life.” If the greatest threat of terrorism, who literally stares one in the face of split second decisions, how much more can managing fear be utilized in everyday personal threats.

In an entirely new chapter of life, Michele uncovers warfare upon warfare and how each layer of evil is intricately involved.

Along the lines of discovering purpose and pursuing a calling of what truly matters, Michele continues to educate the world on liberation of life. Upon retirement from active service, Michele and her husband Joseph (also a former agent) joined a group of Americans who wished to aid persecuted Christians.M

In an entirely new chapter of life, Michele uncovers warfare upon warfare and how each layer of evil is intricately involved. Michele speaks of one form of terrorism that fuels and funds global terrorism: human trafficking is becoming the greatest multi-billion dollar business that is supplying global terrorists throughout the world. In the past, it has been drugs and arms dealings (which are still prevalent), but the greater business is now human slavery. Such terrorism, of course, remains the root of Christian persecution that Michele and Joseph Assad, along with thousands of others, look to combat globally.

The stories and atrocities are not merely TV newscasts and news articles in lands far away that we are unassociated with or have no way of affecting. In “Experiencing God”, Henry Blackaby said, “See how God is already moving and join Him.” We always have a way to combat human trafficking – one of the greatest evils that befalls our world. We can join with organizations that are combating this evil. We can pray, above all and consistently for all chains of slavery, evil and terror to be eradicated by the only power who can truly be Freedom and Life in the hearts and lives of men and women. Jesus.

We always have an “in” in the war on Satanic terror, whatever our earthy calling may be. When we engage as Light with the Light – He fights for us and through us. We simply ask our Commander how He desires us to be a Light to the world we know and don’t know, see and don’t see. Accept the Mission and Move as the Commander Directs. Each one of us. See the world as it really is, master fear by Faith.

Bringing the dark into the light, be compelled and inspired by the true recollections of Michele through “Breaking Cover.” Glean great lessons of your calling in business and faith. Then move in your own calling as an Agent of Light to combat the night terrors of global terrorism and beyond.
