An unprecedented gathering of diverse leaders from dioceses and Catholic organizations from across the country will gather in Orlando July 1-July4 for the Convocation of Catholic Leaders. Organized by the United States Converse of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) the Convocation will explore the theme “The Joy of the Gospel in America.”

The Convocation is the first of its type and is designed to bring Catholic leaders of different dioceses,  including Bishop Barbarito and a small team of Diocesan Directors, to assess the challenges and opportunities of our time, particularly in the context of the Church in the United States. Inspired by Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel) the Convocation will form leaders who will be equipped and re-energized to share the Gospel as missionary disciples, while offering fresh insights informed by new research, communications strategies, and successful models.

You can watch live on TV or on Live Stream the Convocation of Catholic Leaders.  EWTN will air the Opening Mass, key events & the Fortnight Mass on Monday night. Video starts airing on Saturday, July 1, at 2 p.m.
